Clinical sport and remedial massage therapy combines general and deep tissue massage with specific stretching and muscle contraction techniques to improve muscle health. I also combine some myofascial release techniques which works on the fascia connective tissue found around our muscles. The benefits of this style of mixed therapy is felt quite quickly due to its direct approach and is suitable for people of all ages.
Just a quick update. Following Government guidelines and of my professional association – The Institute of Sport and Remedial Massage – I have suspended my clinical massage practice due to the Coronavirus / Covid19 outbreak. Although it is my intention to get back to work ASAP, none of us really know when that will be so I can’t take any bookings until the Government take us out of lock-down. The nature of massage is so good for many aspects of our well being but I can not obviously keep to the social distancing requirements. I’ve had the best support ever from my regular clients to whom I am truly grateful. I will be putting out some (hopefully) helpful self care tips on my social media accounts:

I’m going to make the most of this sabbatical so I’m going to get in the garden, do crochet, keep active with some home workouts and feed my grumpy fat cat Churchill. Let’s stay in touch! Stay home. Stay safe. Protect the NHS
